These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the JEMS Mobile Application developed by Ranjit Kumar (published under Ranjit Kumar). By installing, accessing, or using this application, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Application Purpose & License
JEMS is a business reporting and management solution designed for jewelry businesses. Developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the application for viewing business reports, inventory, sales, purchases, and analytical data synchronized from your existing business system via a secure cloud-connected database.
2. User Registration & Security
Eligibility: You must provide accurate business details, including business name, mobile number, and email address for registration.
Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Data Synchronization & Accuracy
The application synchronizes data from a secure VPS database connected to your existing business system via a secure VPS-hosted database.
Sync Logic: While the app allows for limited data updates, the primary source of truth remains the user’s primary business system.
Verification: Users are strictly advised to verify all reports and calculations before making significant business or financial decisions.
4. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to:
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application.
Use the application for any illegal business practices or unauthorized data access.
Interfere with the security or synchronization protocols of the VPS database.
5. Data Ownership & Deletion
Ownership: All business data remains the exclusive property of the respective business owner. Developer does not claim any ownership rights over your business records.
Account Deletion: Users may request account deletion at any time via the In-App Admin section. To ensure security, deletion requires OTP verification followed by a 10-minute cooling-off period. Manual requests can also be sent to ranjitrk1@gmail.com.
6. Limitation of Liability
JEMS is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
No Warranty: Developer makes no warranties regarding the absolute accuracy of real-time reports due to potential internet or synchronization delays.
Damages: In no event shall developers be liable for any financial loss, business interruption, data loss, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the application.
Backup Responsibility: Users MUST maintain independent, daily backups of all business data through their primary business system.
7. Service Availability & Internet Charges
We strive for high uptime; however, we are not responsible for temporary downtime due to server maintenance, technical failures, or ISP issues. Users are responsible for any data charges incurred while using the application.
The application may store data locally on the device and synchronize with cloud services when internet connectivity is available to ensure proper functionality and data consistency.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of this application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bihar, India.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms & Conditions.
